About Shane Dennis:
A former Wichita State standout pitcher from 1991–1994, Shane earned All-American honors in 1994 and helped lead the Shockers to three College World Series appearances.
He went on to pitch professionally for six seasons before being inducted into the Wichita State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025.
Following his playing career, Shane transitioned seamlessly into broadcasting. He has handled play-by-play for Wichita State athletics across multiple platforms and has hosted or co-hosted sports talk shows in Wichita for more than 15 years.
